Our stoneware Malia serving bowl has a beautiful organic shape which adds character and makes it clear that it has been crafted using traditional techniques. The reactive cream glaze responds to the heat of the kiln, creating unique markings or changes in colouration. As no two reactions are the same, your serving bowl will be unlike any other, making it a truly individual addition to your tabletop. These collections are created by talented artisans in China. The country has a rich heritage of arts and crafts, but sadly it is now more renowned for mass production and many of its traditional skills have been forgotten or overlooked. We work together with our suppliers to protect these skills.
